I've been cooking everyday at home for myself and everyone I know and love for as long as I can remember. And almost everyday a few friends will ask me, with a defeated sigh, "What should I make for dinner tonight?" Sometimes my reply is, "Is it already time to make dinner again?" But the fact is, I do tend to think about dinner throughout the day because it' the prize for making it across the finish line.
I've started this blog for all of us who cook everyday (or almost) and occasionally get bored or brain dead or catch a bout of ennui, yet dinner still has to be made. Thanks for reading. I hope you'll send me ideas too.
I just made a big pot of minestrone, which we're going to eat tonight, cool not cold, with a dollop of pesto in everyone's bowl and crusty bread and a piece of Fontina.
